New Boston opened the Splash Park at the campground in the summer of 2021!

It would be nice if the lots for campers were available on the waterfront, rather than being homesteaded by a few.
There will be a lot of changes to come to the New Boston Campground very soon! All suggestions are taken with care as the campground undergoes the rehabilitation. Thank you for the suggestion and support of the campground! The city is doing its best to keep the community up to date on all of the renovation projects. Check back with us soon for the latest updates!
Ivan, that will soon be getting looked at. We will be rewriting the ordinance with new rules. That is part of our grant renovation.
How much is it to camp? We have a pop up camper.
Shay, please find the information you need for camping on the Camping page. This information has just been updated today. Please let us know if you have anymore questions and we welcome you to the City of New Boston for your camping experience!
I’d like to make reservations for this weekend, but cannot find out how to do that on here. Please let me know how. Thanks!
Good afternoon Jenny! If you would like to make a reservation for the New Boston Campground, please call City Hall at 309-587-8181 and we would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have and book your reservation. As of right now we do not offer a reservation service through the website, but the idea is in the works. We look forward to your stay and thank you for choosing the New Boston and Sturgeon Bay Campground!
Is there a decent boat ramp to launch a 22’ pontoon?
Absolutely! There are multiple ramps at the campground that can handle your boat.
It is a great place!! Kids love it!

Thank you Dave! We’re glad that your family can create memories at the campground!
Good Day I am from ShelterboxUSA the American Affiliate of an international Aid organization. We have a volunteer canoeing the length of the Mississippi this year as a fund raiser. He is most likely to land in New Boston on the 16th of August for an overnight. Your campground sounds right, does it have bathrooms, showers? Is there a store or restaurant in walking distance? Is there a way to secure his canoe ?
Thanks for your help
