The open forum originally scheduled for March 9 has been changed to March 23.
The goal of the open forum is to invite the community members of New Boston to come together and have a discussion of ways to progress the town and make it a better place to live. All members of the community are encouraged to attend with ideas. The forum will also feature discussing regarding the possibilities of the annexation of the Prentise Addition and out to Bay Island Road and the grant for Jefferson Street updates on the storm sewer system.
“It gives the people a chance to voice their concerns and work together to make things better in town,” Mayor Chris DeFrieze said.
The forum is open to the citizens of New Boston and will take place at the next City Council meeting, March 23, at City Hall at 7:00 p.m. All New Boston community members are invited to attend.
